- Athlete profiles (name, age, gender, body mass)
- Test results and performance metrics
- Exercise library and tags
Anonymous Analytics (Optional)
- Test type and timestamp
- Age bracket (not exact age)
- Gender (for aggregate statistics)
- Anonymous device identifier
Data Roles
You (the Coach) are the Data Controller
- You decide which athletes to register and what data to collect
- You are responsible for obtaining valid consent from athletes
- You control all personal data stored on your device
- You are responsible for handling exported data appropriately
Kine is the Data Processor
- We provide the software tool for data collection and analysis
- We process anonymized analytics on your behalf (when consented)
- We do not have access to personal data stored on your device
- We store only anonymous, aggregated data in the cloud
This means you are responsible for:
- Ensuring lawful basis for processing athlete data
- Responding to athlete data requests
- Securing exported data files
- Complying with your local data protection laws
How We Use Your Data
Local Data
- Display your test history and progress
- Calculate performance metrics
- Never leaves your device without consent
Anonymous Analytics
- Improve app performance and features
- Generate aggregate population statistics
- No personal information is shared
Where Data Is Stored
- Local: On your device only (SQLite database)
- Cloud: Google Cloud Firestore (anonymous data only)
Your Rights
You can at any time:
Per Athlete (Athlete Profile > Privacy)
- Export that athlete's data
- Delete that athlete's data
- Toggle analytics consent on/off
All Data (Settings > Privacy)
- Export all athletes and test data
- Delete all data (requires confirmation)
Data Retention
- Local data: Until you delete it
- Cloud data: Deleted automatically when you delete local data
